Title: Stupid things you or someone you know has said in conversation
Post by: thedude on April 29, 2010, 03:04:48 PM
I know that this is a weird topic, but really, there has got to be some story worth sharing. Here are some that my friends have said:

Some of us were talking and my friend was talking about our past teachers.  Someone said that one teacher sucked.  I said, "No!  Mr. (name) is a genius, he's  the man. (He was cool)  And a friend looked up and said, "Wait, Mr. (name) is Jewish?!"

We also one time got a teacher to say, "He gave it to me!"

Once, when playing a quiz game, a question came up about Trafalgar Square, in London (where you used to be able to feed pidgeons, but they outlawed feeding them, in an effort to get rid of them, and this was soon after the outlawing)

Conversation over the game was sparse, and I decided to start a debate about the outlawing of the feeding. However...I ended up saying

"Did you know, now you can feed the pidgeons in Trafalgar Square?"

Which was not only incorrect, but implied that at some point in the past, you could not.

Also, as Star can verify I have said a whole host of other stupid things.

I was playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with my friends. I won't go into the details, but you can pretty much tell what happened by two lines of dialogue:

Friend- "Dude, WTF, I thought you were covering that back entrance!"
Me- "Well, that's the last time I stop to scratch my balls."
